Emirates has resumed daily flights between Hangzhou and Dubai starting May 6, as the airline restores nearly its full global route network following a period of operational disruption.
According to the airline, routes connecting Dubai with Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hangzhou have all returned to one flight per day, while Shenzhen services have resumed at four to five flights per week.
Emirates said its global network has now recovered to 96 percent of pre-disruption operations, covering 137 destinations across 72 countries with more than 1,300 weekly flights. Current capacity has recovered to about 75 percent of previous levels.
In recent weeks, the carrier has gradually restored services across the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, West Asia, the Far East and Australasia.
To attract more travelers, Emirates has also introduced more flexible booking policies. Passengers who purchased tickets after April 2 can change their travel dates one time free of charge across all cabin classes, while direct bookings through the airline include a 24-hour fare hold option.
For transit passengers stopping in Dubai for six to 26 hours, Emirates' Dubai Connect program offers complimentary hotel stays, airport transfers, meals and UAE entry visas for eligible travelers.
In addition, from May 8 to Aug 31, members of the Emirates Skywards loyalty program can earn extra tier miles on Emirates and flydubai flights under reduced qualification requirements.
